We truly believe well-designed and intentional experiences are an important piece of the puzzle of tackling the polycrisis of climate, biodiversity, inequality, and more. This course will help you leverage experience design as a tool for change.

Course Objectives

1. Inspire & Expand… curiosity about the role of Impact Experience Design (IXD) in social change.
2. Understand & Analyze… the foundations of IXD: its key principles, frameworks, and tools, while analyzing real-world case studies.
3. Apply & Experiment… with integrating IXD into your work to design truly transformative experiences.
   

Note: While this course focuses primarily on environmental change (via the real-world cases, lecturer backgrounds, etc), the tools introduced can also be applied to social issues. Most of the real-world cases introduced in this course address an intersection of environmental and social challenges.
