Impact Experience Design (IXD): Core Principles for Real-World Impact

In a world facing disconnection—both from nature and among people—traditional approaches to environmental and social challenges often fall short. IXD – Impact Experience Design – introduces experience design skills to tackle these critical issues. This 4-hour self-paced introduction course combines frameworks, cases, exercises, and additional resources as a starting point to your IXD journey. With expert-led modules and practical applications, this course introduces Experience Design as a method for positive change: a powerful tool to bridge the connection gap between humans and humans to nature. It leverages holistic, immersive approaches to foster connection, spark inspiration, and catalyse action. By focusing on experiences which reach people’s heart and body, as well as mind, IXD offers innovative solutions to "bend the curves" of climate, biodiversity, and social crises.
